Ghee is a clarified butter, an essential ingredient in ayurvedic cooking.
It comes from quality organic butter, from which the water, lactose and protein have been removed. Heated for a long time at a low temperature, the components which make up butter separate and are then filtered, leaving behind only pure fat: ghee.
In addition, ghee has the advantage that it doesn’t degrade or blacken during cooking, even at high temperatures. Used in everyday cooking, it allows you to make typical Indian dishes, including browning and crisping classic dishes.
